Social Media Prove It Week

Proud of my clients

At Natiiv, my focus has always been teaching people to use social media tools. I put a higher priority on seeing my clients fend for themselves than doing work for them. That doesn't mean that I haven't done some outreach for clients, but I'm happier when they are up to their elbows in tweets and posts.

This week Spike Jones dared the rest of us working in the space to post case studies. I'm slow to get them on my home page, but here are four clients that I think show the type of work we do here.

  • Nintendo power-pop band I Fight Dragons went from 200 person mailing list to over 10,000 members in one year and got signed by Atlantic Record.
  • Writer Amy Guth built an online presence that kept her independent novel selling for two years and landed her at the Chicago Tribune as the Digital Books Editor.
  • Assisted non-profit The Friendship Circle in Detroit, Michigan run an online campaign to win $1,000,000 in the Chase Giving Challenge. The small, local charity came in fourth place and was awarded $100,000.
  • Developed and underwrote Writing The Rails for singer/songwriter David Kav. The innovative tour keeps him in towns with Amtrak stations and is a charity fundraiser for the final city.

This is just a sampling of clients I've worked with, but I think it is a good start for Prove It Week.
