Sam & Diane

An old habit of mine, that I broke a few years ago, was to fall for bartenders, waiters and other men in customer service roles. Tommy was my last “Sam” and when I finally realized that I would not fulfill the “Diane” role for him or any other “Sam.” Indeed, my joke from my customer service days was indeed true, “Hey, anybody here ever mistake good customer service for somebody hitting on you?” SOMETIMES IT IS JUST CUSTOMER SERVICE.
