ARZA & Aliyah

Late this afternoon, I was sending a note about an event this weekend with my social group at Emanuel, when I realized what the date was. No, not that it was September 11th, The Anniversary, but more, “wasn’t there some aliyah talk tonight at shul ?”

Yes. Yes, there was. And I went. (Aliyah is a term that refers to immigrating to Israel.)

I went because I think a lot about moving to Israel. I went because I have a lot of confusion about the legalities of reform conversion and Israel. I went because it fancied me tonight to go.
