It looks like spring has sprung in London over the last ten days. I saw a number of trees with pink buds ready to burst open, so I’m going to say that leaving my winter coat at home was a good idea. The flight was uneventful and I didn’t sleep except for 20 minutes at the beginning. I did watch The Duplex (a new comedy with Drew Barrymore and Ben Stiller,) In America, and Radio. Also some cartoons for good measure.
In duty-free in Chicago I tried on some Chanel No 5. I don’t have a signature scent and have decided (over a year ago, actually) it was time to find one. So, I spritzed on some Chanel No. 5, the most classic woman’s perfume on the market. That was in Chicago and then I made my decision in London. I will be a Chanel No. 5 girl for the remainder of my 75 ml.
Otherwise it is 10:00AM in London, which is 4:00 AM in Chicago. I got up this morning at 9:00AM and haven’t slept, but if I’m going to beat the Jet Lag, I am expected to stay awake until 10PM or so.
It’s nap time, if nothing else.
