Dipping a toe into the dating waters.

Yesterday I went out on a limb and (drumroll please) answered a personal ad on Craigslist. I even used my real deal email address and straight up told him I had a blog. What’s the point in hiding that? I just sent him the link to A Tale of Two Photos and said, “merge those photos and analyze the text.” Cause why not? He’s going to Google me anyway, right?

And then the apparent confidence helped this morning and I got hit on at Metropolis. Wow. That never happens. So, cool, right?

But considering it is a million degrees below zero, I won’t be taking my mojo out of the house again today. Yes there are a number of options tonight–outdoor ice skating with Makor, meeting a sexy Argentine-Israeli composer at the Symphony, or ordering a pizza and staying on my couch.

Although the more I think about it, meeting the Argentine-Israeli-Jewish (single) composer wouldn’t be so terrible. Hmmmm.

UPDATE: Insanity. I’m not going outside until June. It’s tooooooo cold.
