Does anyone not criticize strangers?

Oy.

Sometimes I love the internet and sometimes I hate it so much. I’ve been posting what I’m putting in the alley on Craigslist. And everything seems to be getting claimed. Books, bookshelves, clothes. Just let people know, put it out in an accesible place on a nice day, and watch somebody who needs it, take it.

But people are writing critical response ads. COME ON! I’m taking these things out of the cycle of commerce, but it isn’t going into a dump. I got it all for free and am not going to make someone else pay for it. I always feel very good about doing this. People can get something they might need, I’m not putting it out on a rainy day and watching things get ruined. It is a nice day for alley shoppping.
