Great Cure

Apparently all I needed was 1. a reason to celebrate 2. some sunshine 3. two great guest lecturers 4. more sunshine 5. beef and 6. salsa dancing.

I left work yesterday in a foul mood. I cried at my desk, spun my wheels and left in a terrible mood. But immediately got to go celebrate with a friend who got a terrific job offer. Then it was off to shul, more shul, some sunshine, some davening on the beach, more sunshine, a hamburger and the cherry on top?

Salsa dancing at the HotHouse. Which I had to be forced into, but had an absolute blast. I got to dance twice with a guy who was an amazing lead. I forgot how good that feels. To just be loose and ready for whatever he decides to do next. Ah, I love to dance. We danced merengue together, but I did a little salsa by myself and with the new girlfriends I went with.

Y baila? si!
