It did feel good.

While it took me ages to get into the Yom Kippur mood, can I just say that being on an account at work where the majority of the team is Jewish was really cool. As the day drew to an end, everyone left a bit early and work stopped. It didn’t just stop, it came to a screeching halt because everyone needed to prepare for Kol Nidre.

That must be what it is like to live in Israel every week as Shabbat rolls around again.
