Hip Hip Hooray! The Arctic blast has paid off and today it is snowing in London! Big flakes that seem to have no intention of sticking to the ground, but they are falling and being swept up and around by the wind. It is making everyone outside smile, how can you not smile at snow. Snow that has nearly stopped already, but snow nonetheless.
I realize that there are feet of snow in Chicago right now and all over the U.S. but this is the first bit of winter I’ve really seen this year.
UPDATE: It is no longer snowing in London. It lasted ten minutes–but those ten minutes were harrowing.
