On my way to church

“What are you doing tomorrow?” I have to go to church. “Again?” Church, church, this time, Not temple.

My friends have been a little shocked to see me running off to temple twice yesterday and that I have plans to go to church this morning. Other than that little change, I think I’ve come back basically the same. I am having a wonderful time eating my way around the southwest and talking to friends I haven’t seen in years.

I started yesterday with a bagel from the Durango Bagel and then was off to temple Har Shalom for Torah study and shabbat service. I wasn’t the only out of towner in the small congregation. I was welcomed and even asked to participate.

I am late for church, so I’ll write more later.
