So I posted on the boston and the seattle craigslists, offering to write personal ads for people. Why? I love reading personal ads and while I’m always looking for someone for myself, I also just enjoy reading them. After this esquire thing, I’ve gotten more critical about the content and style of ads.
Since I’m not feeling too much like I’ve got to get a date right now, but want a unique writing assignment, I’m writing personal ads for strangers and for free. I’ve received good reviews from the last few people, even if they don’t use them, they seem to appreciate the time and what I’ve written for them or about them.
SWF seeks single people with poor writing skills.
