I had a long day at work and stayed pretty intensly focused, so I’m wiped out. I had my tunes, I had my groove and I plowed through some of my to-do list. I finally got on the bus around 7:45 tonight. Haven’t really had a late night at the office like that in some time, so I’m not complaining.
I was telling some of my team tonight about the lack of a K key on my laptop. I explained that when I’m feeling too lazy to pull the keyboard out of it’s little drawer, I just use a K-free vocabulary. Steve promised to pay extra attention to emails I send out at night. But what Steve didn’t promise me was a new lap top. Damn. I’m really starting to itch for some sort of Apple laptop. I don’t know why, I just am. Maybe it’s the iPod, but now I just HAVE TO HAVE a MacBook or a MacBook Pro or whatever the kids are using these days.

Speaking of finding me (nice segue, right?) I’ve noticed a lot more people are landing here because they are specifically looking for the Leah Jones that works at Edelman. Obviously they found me, since I’m in the top 20 hits or something for that google search. But it is a little surprising, because other than what I write on Talkshop, I don’t have a terribly public job. Cool. (And a lot of people can’t spell pomagranate, so I’m getting loads (five or six a day) of hits from people who spell like me. Awesome.)
Okay, I’m off to bed. If you haven’t, you should read True Ancecstor’s comment below about my dream. He sent quite the interpretation. I love it. Not totally sure that it was a conversion dream, but it is a great interpretation. I am having some Condo Board stress, some romance stress, and some bat mitzvah stress.
I prefer not to blog about those things, because I found that the act of complaining creates more for me to complain about. I’ll just go to bed and hope the potstickers don’t send me crashing through another iceberg.
