The Saga of the missing MacBook

I guess if it is resolved in less than 18 hours, it isn’t really a saga. But after an amazingly fun time at my nephew’s birthday party, we were loading the cars and I was heading to the train station. And… um… wait… where’s my backpack?

Where’s my backpack with my laptop in it? And by extension with my novel in it? And my grant in it? And… and… and… my debt in it?

The museum was locked tight. My sister suggested spending the night and trying to get it today, but since we thought it was closed today, I got on my train as scheduled. Bright and early this morning, the museum staff reported it found.

Whew. I mean it… whew.
