Who else cant watch the news…

I’ve been on a news diet since the election went to Bush. I’m not the only person I know who can’t read, listen, or watch the news right now. For the first four or five days, I was grinding my teeth. I’ve never woken up with a sore jaw, but teeth grinding is the only explanation. The news on Fallujah has given me a weak stomach. I’m certainly more anxious. I’ve never seen so many people so depressed over an event–other than the September 11th attacks.

But we didn’t have control of that, so this is different somehow. I feel lucky to live in a blue island in a sea of red. I keep trying to go to the BBC to read the news, but I can’t finish an article. I just want to apologize. I can’t believe we elected him again.

Sigh.
