soup.

I had a bit of a Betty Crocker weekend this weekend. I made Chocolate Chip Banana Bread (from scratch) yesterday and today I made the Gapersblock Tomato Soup. I also had some pizza, not from scratch, and burgers at Hamburger Mary’s. I stayed in Friday night, I went out last night, I helped out this afternoon at shul, I cooked, I wrote, I did dishes, I did laundry.

That’s about it, really. Not much of an update other than to say I’m alive and enjoying delicious homemade food. I’m also enjoying that cooking a pot of soup no longer makes me feel lonely. Not even after typing that sentence. Nope, I don’t feel lonely in retrospect. Instead, I enjoyed cooking for myself this weekend. I think it is fair to say that I’m out of my fall funk and feeling a bit more like fabulous.
