A moment while I defrost

I’ve got the veggies all chopped, the challah is rising for the first two hour break, and the spinach is in the microwave defrosting. I cried while I chopped the onions and actually nicked my finger on my knife. That’s a first. I’ve got the BEEF meatballs in the freezer and the secret ingredients sitting on the floor of the dining room.

Michelle has already dropped off the fresh Pico de Gallo and Rice n Beans her mom made (on her behalf) and the red velvet cake is at the shop. I’ve got some soda in the fridge and the one bottle of white wine I bought. Sorry folks, this is a red wine house.
