A rabbi and a rapper walk into a suite…

I mentioned my friend Pinny last night. He’s an ordained rabbi and the EVP of marketing at Ice.com. Oh and he’s one of the founders of the company too. We met at the WOMMA conference last year and have stayed in touch. Today he sent an email announcing his newest YouTube project “Pinny’s World.” At the Oscars they had a swag suite and he interviewed all sorts of celebrities including some rappers. This is my favorite video, you’ll have to click through to find the one where he’s chatting with the rappers.

If you look close, you’ll see his kippah. Something I love about the Gniwisch family business is that they don’t hide who they are and I think that’s helped them be quite successful. If you didn’t know, the site shuts down on shabbat. Funny, Adam and I talked about that last night at our Jblogger dinner. How important it is to me to work at Edelman, a company with strong Jewish values.

Anywho, here is one of his videos. You should go over there to see the rest of them.
