Clear to Close

Despite a screw-up of minor sorts by my bank, I am now CLEAR TO CLOSE! I will be able to walk into the Title company on Wednesday, throw down my cashier’s check, sign my name 500 times, and walk out with KEYS!!!!

HOORAY! When I do my walk-through, I am turning on the fridge and putting a bottle of bubbly inside. That way I can come back from the closing, pop the cork, celebrate and hang my mezzuzah on the door.

I move into MY OWN CONDO in less than a week. Can you believe it? I’m upgrading from a renter to an owner and I’m not even married. Sure, guys do it all the time, but I am certainly the first of my girlfriends to make the leap while I’m still single. Big stuff kids, big stuff.
