Columbine Anniversary

Today is the 6th anniversary of the shootings at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado. I was a senior in college when it happened and while it was horrible, I couldn’t quite relate.

Then I moved to southern colorado and my students were those students. Physicall, literally. My students had been in the cafeteria, the library, the classrooms. My students had survived Columbine. My friend Jake over on Angry American always has a little more to say than I do, since it was much more his experience. I’ll let him take over from here.
