Culinary Adventures.

Writer: Leah JonesLeah Jones

With the current state of the price of a pound of tomatos, my tomato soup days are on hold. What does that mean? It is time to get creative in the kitchen. I won’t settle for a burger at the Daily or the Gypsy Skillet from Le Sabre. Tonight I am cooking.

I wandered around Harvest Time looking for inspiration. I finally settled on carrots, zuchinni, chicken breast, onion, and cream of mushroom soup. I cut it all up (except the chicken) and put it in a casserole pan. I covered it with cream of mushroom soup. Put a tin foil lid on the pan and popped it in the oven.

I don’t know how long to cook it, at what temp, or if it will be a culinary disaster. Like all things I do in the kitchen, I’m just winging it.

I have eggs on toast as a back up. Eggs and a snickers bar, with a side of popcorn.
