Election night.

While I was still at work, we had three webpages up and the TV on to watch the different numbers roll in. Bush started at 57% and has been working his way down ever since. But what is the count now? Nobody will call it and the Democrats won’t concede. Thank god for that.

But in the pit of my stomach is worry and fear. What if? What if? What if? Can this actually be happening again?

I’m going to head to bed and I have to fall asleep, but what if? Will I wake up tomorrow feeling like it is Christmas morning? The what if could be wonderful, because we could wake up to John Kerry.
