Heading to Nashville, TN in a Sweet Ride.

Next weekend, I’ll be hopping into a Lincoln MKS thanks to of Ford Motors and heading to Nashville with my friend and fellow rabble-rouser Amy Guth.

We’re calling the trip Viva NashVegas!

I’ve never been to NashVegas before, but I hear it is amazing. We’ll be staying at the Hotel Preston. Why? Because when I googled “hotel nashville blog” I found the quirky, boutique hotel. I quickly followed the Hotel on Twitter, got in touch with the GM and he kindly comped up a room. To say thank you to the hotel, we’re inviting bloggers and twitterati in NashVegas to join us at the Pink Slip on Saturday night for a tweet-up.

We’re also getting together with local writer and conspiring fellow, the one and only Peter Cole of Keyhole Magazine, for a tour of NashVegas writer hang-outs, book stores and other odds and ends.

Sunday morning we’ll be brunching with Melissa from Strawberry Beret at Ombi Restaurant. Word on the street is that brunch is a new thing there and they need all the support they can get. If Ombi has wifi, we’ll also live stream part of our meal .

Did I just say live stream? Yes. After Sleepover 2.0, Amy and I caught the video and live streaming bug. Whenever we can get good wifi, we’ll be hopping on Ustream and inviting you to chat with us. Watch our tweets for updates about when you can find us over here.

From Nashville, we might go to Memphis or we might come back to Chicago. The story is… I have a luxury car for a week and don’t have to be in Chicago until Tuesday night. Viva NashVegas!
