I choose silver.

I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to shop anywhere, after all I’ve only lost 10 pounds and I’m not exactly going to the gym like I should be. Surprise, surprise Anne Taylor has expanded their sizes to include me and so has the Gap. It helps that I’ve also slimmed down a few pounds. So I went ahead and allowed myself a little bit of fun.

I tried on a couple suits, but they weren’t quite right. In the end I selected a full black and white skirt and a khaki jacket from Anne Taylor. I got new jeans at Gap and the piece de resistance? Silver Pumas! Seriously folks, silver Pumas!

I wanted to buy Pumas last year for my trip to Israel, but the Puma store downtown didn’t have my size and weren’t interested in helping. Not only did this store have my size, but the sales girl was in love with the shoes I tried on. I walked around the store with one green shoe and one silver shoe. I interupted people and had them vote. I sent out an email and had my friends vote. I got the silver Pumas. I might not have a MacBook, but I finally have Pumas.

Silliness. I know. (I also got four new bras. Shhhh. Don’t tell anyone.)

As far as the ad on Craigslist, I got some very nice responses. And some that will simply be deleted. Yes, for the record, I have a problem with the fact that YOU ARE MARRIED! Ahem.
