If you build it, they will come.

So late last night I posted my third personal ad on Craigslist. The first one, if you remember, resulted in the dates with “Whew, that’s expensive, I’ve got seven dollars” and the Consultants who’s nice care made me feel ashamed for being impressed by his nice car. There was the date that never happened with that one guy. The second one–I only went out with Jason and we went out a lot, but turns out we are just friends. Which is fine, sometimes a girl needs a guy friend.

This is the first time I’ve said that I’m looking for a jewish guy and that I’m not jewish. I have received as many answers from jewish men as I usually receive from guys when I didn’t request they be jewish. So now I have an inbox full of emails from men who almost all sound like winners. Before there have only been one or two that sounded good, this time there are a ton that I am ready to go to dinner with. I get the feeling that I’d have a date every night if I wanted it.
