“Its a…”

Yesterday I got a text message on my phone from my brother-in-law, telling me, “It’s a XXXXX!” My sister had her ultrasound (or is it sonogram?) and found out the gender of their first child.

It is very exciting to know and to be able to be using the name already. To be able to buy the appropriate color onesy and blankets. Cause as much as I don’t want to buy blue or pink on a politically correct level, I want to buy blue or pink. I get to buy a sticker saying “It’s a XXXX!” and slap it on the envelope of the baby shower.

I figure the part of me that wants to buy things in pink and blue, is the same part that buys Cosmopolitan magazine and listens to Mancow in the morning.
