On the front of section two of this week’s Reader is a small article about midwestern theaters that won’t be showing Michael Moore’s Film, Farenheit 9/11. I read the snippet, expecting it to mention some chain of theaters, but instead it only featured one.

The owner has received multiple DEATH THREATS over showing Moore’s documentary. My co-worker, Dave, said his answer would be to show it and charge no admission the first day. I am pretty sure that Rayne and Bob are going to be pretty pissed off, as they hit the Avon almost every week for their indy film and documentary fix.

UPDATE: Okay, it looks like things have changed since The Reader went to press and F9/11 opens tonight. Whew.
