Overwhelmed and disappointed.

In the grand scheme of things, my life is still quite good.

In the micro scheme of things, I’m feeling overwhelmed and disappointed. Nothing I really want to blog about, but the overwhelmedness and disappointedness make me not want to blog at all.

I lost a competition that I thought I was in really good shape to win. Or at least place.

What I did was different and I thought different was good.

I’m not saying I didn’t get compliments on it. I did. But a compliment doesn’t buy a new computer or a few hotel nights in Jerusalem, does it? “Atta girls” can’t be taped to my cubicle wall as a reminder that I’m doing okay.
