Today was Mitzvah Day at my shul. A day for everyone to stay after religious school and deep clean, paint, organize and purge. And sing songs at a retirement community and make sack lunches for the homeless in the hood. All around, a good day.
Since my CFL bulbs from COEJL aren’t in yet, I had the day free and joined the bathroom painting crew. Know what? PERFECT job for an introvert. You can focus on your job, no major decisions, just paint. When I went to the stage area, I realized how lucky I was to be trapped in a small stall with three wet walls.
I also learned was bad aim does to stall walls in a boy’s bathroom. GROSS. There is no rust like that in a girls bathroom. NONE. It is called uric acid for a reason, huh?
