Second “This American Life” Rejection!

I am two for two at This American Life. That is two rejections for two story submissions. The last one was a couple years ago and was my essay, “It’s not easy being green.” This one was called Making Aliyah–about the different voices in my congregation, how differently each person says the blessing before the torah reading, and about my conversion.

There wasn’t enough of a story–it was too subtle.

Oh well. At least the email was a little more personal this time.
