Shabbat without your shul.

Writer's picture: Leah JonesLeah Jones

Sometimes I forget to be grateful that my shul is standing. Sure we get some graffiti from time to time, but never any major vandalism. Not so in Israel where a shul was burnt this week. Not to the ground, but many books and Torah scrolls were damaged or destroyed.

Hat tip, sadly, to Boker Tov, Boulder. (Sadly because the last way you want to kick off Shabbat is by reporting that a shul was torched.)
