Starting with a sound track.

My friend Adam, a DJ from back in the day, sent me a mixed CD a month ago. I have finally figured out that I do indeed have sound on my computer and have started listening to music in my office while I work. I have listened to this one fairly regularly and think he has managed to put together a pretty decent sound track for a screenplay I haven’t written yet. I’m not sure what the story is, but there certainly is one in the mix he put together for me.

It might be a love story, but I’m not quite sure it is. If it is, it is in the sense that Lost in Translation was a love story. It might also be a darker movie, a little betrayal, a little travel, slick cobblestones in a narrow alley. That sort of thing.

I’ll tell you when I get the Oscar nomination.
