I sit in an office above the 50th floor, pretty close to a window. A storm just hit downtown Chicago and it is AMAZING to watch from, what feels like, cloud level. Everything looks like an old thriller movie–the lake and all the boats are gray. The colors are gone, drained from the city. All I can see is rain, clouds, car headlights and streetlamps.
