Moving slow today and need to get a ton of stuff done. Cleaning stuff and work stuff and personal project stuff. Had an amazing time checking out the DIY Trunk Show with Amy yesterday. She blogged about nearly everything we saw, so I’ll let you follow along on her blog.

It is one of those things that I kick myself for missing every year. Not this year, we actually made it there with time to go to all three rooms. And I finally got to meet Cinnamon Cooper. She’s one of the organizers of the event and a maker of fine handbags, but I’ve also been cooking her Gapersblock tomato soup for 4 years now.

I got to thank her in person for publishing the great recipe a little bit later in the evening at a fabulous (and semi-low-key) party over at Jacqui and Clint‘s house. Yes, I actually went to Wicker Park twice in one day. What year is it? 2002?
