Sunday


It is one of those things that I kick myself for missing every year. Not this year, we actually made it there with time to go to all three rooms. And I finally got to meet Cinnamon Cooper. She’s one of the organizers of the event and a maker of fine handbags, but I’ve also been cooking her Gapersblock tomato soup for 4 years now.

I got to thank her in person for publishing the great recipe a little bit later in the evening at a fabulous (and semi-low-key) party over at Jacqui and Clint‘s house. Yes, I actually went to Wicker Park twice in one day. What year is it? 2002?
