I’ve decided to see a baseball game. And a football game. And basketball. And hockey. And soccer. And roller derby.
In 2009, I want to see every professional team in Chicago play one game or match. I’ve seen the Cubs play two or three times and the Fire once, but this year I’d like to see the Cubs, White Sox, Black hawks, Bears, Fire, Red Stars, Windy City Rollers and the Bulls.
Does anyone need a plus one to a game? I promise that I’ll (try to) pay attention to the actual game and I’ll get the first round or two of beer.
Why would I do this? I’ve been in Chicago for 7 years and have only seen two of our teams play in person. This year I’d like to see every team. Call it my Sports Bucket List.
