Actually, I don’t have much in the way of bad news. The only thing is that instead of my hobby being JDate, apparently my new hobby needs to be skincare. I’m sure it becomes routine, but my dermatologist has piled me up with prescriptions and rules of cleaning and moisturizing. I’ll be spending a lot of time at my bathroom sink for the next month or so.
The good news is that I don’t seem to be on the verge of having a heart attack and that all of my moles are totally normal. It was my first time ever meeting a dermatologist and she was very nice. Much more attentive than a normal doctor–which is funny considering it’s just skin we’re talking about. Not that skin isn’t my biggest organ or important, but if all doctors were as attentive as her, what a different medical world we’d live in. She had a very strict no-cell phone policy, so I missed my bat mitzvah lesson. But she also had three Maimonides pictures/writings up. I thought that was a good sign. I’d much rather have a bunch of Maimonides hanging up on the walls instead of crucifixes.
