Voter Registration Scare

Yesterday I got an email from True Majority saying that I wasn’t registered to vote at the address I gave them. Shit! I thought I changed my address!

This morning I called the Chicago Board of Elections and checked my registration. I am registered to vote and he even told me my polling location. I think True Majority didn’t get me on the registered voter list because a) the address they sent included a line that said “address line 2” and b) chicago doesn’t have an easy online system for checking.

I want to direct all my Chicago friends to the Chicago Board of Elections Registration office at 312-269-7936. Suburban Cook County Friends can check out the much more user friendly suburban page at http://www.cookctyclerk.com/

Make sure we all vote this year.
