Yes. The baby is here.

Yes. My twin sister had her baby boy on Tuesday at 2:11PM in Decatur. Henry Ryman was 7 lbs and 13.8 oz, 20 inches long. HE IS TEENY TINY. I suppose all babies are, but I’ve never seen a baby that was less than a day old.

My parents and I got to the hospital on Tuesday night and got to be the first to congratulate them and hold Henry. (This was after a slight detour of mine. I wound up in Aurora trying to get onto 55.) I spent the night in Decatur and got lots of quality Henry time today.

According to a customer of mine, it is important for the baby to smell you early in its life. Then it imprints on you and you have a special bond. I made sure to get some imprinting on Mr. Henry today. I didn’t want to leave, but work and spidey called.
